Bryan College hosted the Graduate School Fair on October 26 in Latimer Student Center. Different graduate schools partner with Bryan College and set up booths outside the cafeteria. Students stopped by to talk about what the schools have to offer.

“The event exceeded my expectations,” said Luke Morris, director of career services. He went on to explain how there were more schools than he expected, including schools that alumni finished their graduate programs at. Morris worried that the timing in the school year was off for this kind of event but more students participated than expected.

The schools with booths at the event were: Richmont Graduate University, University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, Milligan College, Belhaven University, Bethel University, Bethel University, Lee University and Bryan College.

Richmont Graduate University offers a three and two year plan. Bryan graduate students start at Bryan for three years before transferring to Richmont for the last two years to finish up their graduate program. They offer counseling and ministry for their graduate programs.

Lee University offers over 64 different kinds of graduate programs. The University of Tennessee in Chattanooga offers business, engineering, nursing, education and many more. Bonny Clark from UTC said, “We have everything you need to stay professional and stay in Chattanooga.”

Bryan offers some of their own graduate programs for students who wish to remain on campus. Bryan College’s business graduate program is the most popular of the graduate programs offered. The business program, that used to be only for in resident students, is now open to online students as well. Bryan students have many graduate programs to choose from, including an Associate of Business, Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology, Bachelor of Business Administration, and Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
