Birthplace- Ooltewah, TN

Birthdate- April 5, 1994

Schooling- Apison Elementary, Ooltewah Middle, Ooltewah High, Bryan College

Religious Experience- Cody became a Christian in his junior year of high school, but was not surrounded by the best individuals. When he arrived at Bryan, he became part of a community of young men that challenged him to strive and grow even more than he was able to just by attending church every Sunday. He is now helping lead a Bible study among his peers Bryan College. Also, he finished leading a youth group of 7th grade boys. He is a member of New Union Baptist Church here in Dayton, Tenn.

Spouse- Regan Rhinehart

Parent: Cody learned hard work from his mom because she took care of Cody and his brother on her own.

Hobbies- Baseball, teaching baseball and reading. He has a dog.

College Baseball Player- Cody has been a four year starter at Bryan College since 2012. He had a successful freshman year campaign and won freshman of the year for the AAC (Athletic Appalachian Conference). Continuing into his sophomore year, he missed all-conference by one vote and was elected to the academic all-conference team as well as all-tournament. Cody’s junior year had another successful year where he and SS (Shortstop) Andrew Urbistondo broke the record for most double plays turned in a season and then Cody was elected to the all-conference team as well as won a gold glove. Cody is currently in his senior year of baseball and plans on staying here at Bryan College after graduation as a graduate assistant. Cody is pursuing his master’s degree at Bryan College this upcoming fall.
