Volleyball team loses 3-set heartbreaker in playoffs

The Bryan College Lady Lions lost to the Indiana Wesleyan University (Marion, In.) Lady Wildcats in three sets on Saturday in the opening round of the NAIA Tournament.

After winning the AAC Championship the Lady Lions won the bid to host the Lady Wildcats in the opening round of the NAIA Tournament. Unfortunately, Bryan dropped three straight sets to the Wildcats to end their season.

After a hard fight in an almost packed house, in front of an electrifying crowd set scores were 25-22, 25-22, and 25-21.

Senior Carolyn Evans led the Lions offense with 10 kills. Junior Taylor Fink recorded 36 assists and Senior Corrie Walker had 11 digs.
