The Bryan Lions men’s soccer team kicked off the year with a preseason scrimmage at Lee University (Cleveland, Tenn.) on Aug. 18, and the first official game is away at the University of the Cumberlands (Williamsburg, Ky.).

Last year the team finished 12-4-2 overall and finished 5-1-1 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC).

For this year, the team has a busy schedule. With their first game away at Cumberlands, Bryan will come back home for the Bryan Classic Invitational where the team will play two games against Asbury College (Wilmore, Ky.) on Sept. 4 and Belhaven College (Jackson, Miss.) on Sept. 5.

The team will be traveling to many schools such as King College (Bristol, Tenn.) on Sept. 26 and Tennessee Wesleyan (Athens, Tenn.) on Sept. 30.

The big game against Covenant College (Lookout Mountain, Tenn.) will be Oct. 7 after the homecoming game against Brescia University (Owensboro, Ky.), Oct. 3.

With over 18 games ahead of them, the men’s soccer team is ready to kick off.
