Perhaps you always root for the victimized good guy. Or maybe the evil genius is more your style. Either way, “Gladiator” has something for you. 
Thanks to SGA, you’ll have the opportunity to spend your Saturday night with Maximus, the quintessential underdog, and Commodus, the tyrannical ruler, of the 2001 Oscar award-winner for Best Picture.
“Gladiator” is a heart-wrenching story that plays on your emotions but also contains plenty of action and gladiatorial combat. This movie is ideal for the couple that can never reach a compromise between “The Notebook” and “The Fast and the Furious 6.”
The drama, starring Russell Crowe, Joaquin Phoenix and Connie Nielsen, is rated R for “intense, graphic content.”
