The Bryan College women’s volleyball team hosted conference rivals Tennessee Wesleyan College (Athens) on Oct, 22. The Lady Lions dominated their local rivals and won the match in three straight sets, scoring 25-16, 25-14 and 25-15.
This is the latest in a string of good results for the women’s volleyball team, and they now hold the overall record of 27-1 overall and 16-0 in the AAC.
There were a number of strong performances in this match, and it was a relatively comfortable win for Bryan. Junior hitter Ashley Ferris led the offense with nine kills. Senior libero Corrie Walker recorded a game-high of 15 digs, and junior setter Taylor Fink finished with 25 assists and seven digs.
