The Bryan College men’s soccer team has had an incredible amount of success this year. Going into the tournament this week, the NAIA 21st-ranked Lions, held the number one seed in the AAC.

At the AAC awards ceremony Wednesday at Bryan, the Lions stole the show with 16 individual honors, the most players voted on to the all-conference first team, regular season champions, and were voted as Co-champions of Character. For the second year in a row, coach Joey Johnson was named AAC Coach of the Year leading the Lions to 8-1 in the conference and 14-3 overall.

The Lions will play at home against Virginia Intermont in the AAC tournament championship game on Saturday night at 7 p.m.
