Lady Lions volleyball celebrates Senior Day with 3-0 sweep of Union

The Bryan College Lady Lions volleyball team won their final home game of the season against the Lady Bulldogs of Union College (Ky.) in 3 sets.

“The student body cheered their team on, creating the most electrifying atmosphere of the season,” according to the Bryan Lions website.

This was not only the final home game for the Lady Lions, but it was Senior Day as well. Before the start of the game, the team recognized seniors Corrie Walker, Carolyn Evans, Chelsea Breaden and Rebecca Stroup (Adams).

Set scores were 25-23, 25-22, and 25-22. Kara Stamper led the offense with 11 kills while Carolyn Evans and Chelsea Breaden added 10 kills and nine kills, respectively. Taylor Fink recorded 34 assists and 15 digs. Corrie Walker added 11 digs and Rebecca Stroup (Adams) tallied seven.
