During her time at Bryan, senior Joy Hartman has especially enjoyed getting to know lots of different faculty members as she pursues a degree in liberal arts (humanities option) with minors in journalism and counseling psychology. She considers playing soccer at Bryan for the past four years as one of the most “rewarding and character-building” experiences of her college career. Her other interests include people, ideas, arguing/debating, dance, sports (especially soccer), piano and coffee ice cream. Joy hopes to eventually attain a master’s degree in psychology and supplement a ministry in counseling with a freelance writing career.
