Lions lose first game of Bryan College Classic

The Bryan College men’s basketball team hosted NAIA Division I Southern Wesleyan University in the opening match of the Bryan College Classic.

The Lions started the night strong and opened up a 14-point lead. At the end of the first half The Warriors had managed to fight their way back into the game, however, Bryan managed to end the half with a 31-24 lead.

In the second half the Warriors vastly improved their performance and managed to win the game 62-56. Bryan now has a record of 3-8 for the season.

Brandon Cole again led the scoring for the Lions with 32 points and 18 rebounds for the night. Robert Troino also ended with 14 points and four rebounds. Bryan shot 34.4% from the floor while Wesleyan managed 37.7, both teams recorded 12 turnovers.
