The Lions of Bryan College opened up conference play against Truett-McConnell in Cleveland GA. The Lions did not have the start that they planned on having as they dropped the three game series to the Bears with two losses.
The Lions were able to overcome this upset and bounce back with a three game sweep in back to back weekends over Bluefield in VA and St. Andrews in Laurinberg, NC.
With that being the case the Lions entered the biggest weekend of the season as they traveled across the Tennessee River to play against rival Tennessee Wesleyan Bulldogs.
The Lions entered this weekend with an overall record at 23-7, and a conference record 7-2. Although the Lions didn’t have the weekend they had hoped for against TWC, they played well and proved that they are no doubt at the top of the conference.
