Lions beat Knights in 3 of 4 sports

Bryan athletics was a competition of Lions and Knights as the four athletic teams competing Wednesday all faced St. Andrews University (Laurinburg, North Carolina).

Women’s volleyball opened the day’s sports lineup competing against the Lady Knights in the opening round of the AAC Tournament in Kingsport, Tennessee. The Lady Lions defeated the Knights with a 3-0 sweep. They are now 25-8 overall and 15-0 in the AAC. They will face Montreat College (North Carolina) Thursday in the next round of the AAC Tournament.

Men’s soccer was next to compete against the Knights in the semifinals of the 2014 AAC Tournament at Reinhardt University (Waleska, Georgia). The Lions lost 4-2 to put an end to their season. They finished the season 9-8-2 overall and 5-4 in the AAC.

Women’s basketball took on the Lady Knights at home to open conference play. The Lady Lions defeated the Lady Knights 65-48. They are now 4-1 overall and 1-0 in the AAC. They will play at Talladega College (Alabama) on Nov 15.

Men’s basketball was the final team to take on the Knights at home to open conference play. The Lions defeated the Knights 69-48. They are now 5-0 overall and 1-0 in the AAC. They will play at the University of North Alabama (Florence) on Nov 17.
