The Lady Lions routed the Tennessee Temple Crusaders 57-39 on Oct. 28 in Summers Gymnasium.
The ladies’ defense was exceptional as they had 10 steals and forced 18 turnovers. Freshman Kristin Lane led the Lady Lions with 13 points, nine rebounds and five steals.
Both the men’s varsity and JV basketball teams lost their home openers to Tennessee Temple that day, the varsity by a score of 70-54.
