Dear Students,
I want to thank you for your overwhelming acts of appreciation shown to my husband and the other faculty at Bryan College on FAD (Faculty Appreciation Day). Your timing could not have been better, and I cannot express to you how much your acts of kindness meant to him. You did indeed boost his spirits. Mission accomplished!
Dr. Barnett made me come up to the science floor to show me the “wall” and all the other decorations plus all the cards and yummy treats he had received. I still get choked up when I think of you, and indeed I broke down and cried when I saw and read everything. The pain, anguish, and frustration that I have watched my husband go through have been very difficult. I know I can speak for many other faculty spouses in expressing my thanks to all of you.
