Project Phoenix is Bryan’s Enactus project that enables Rhea County to rise out of the ashes of hunger.

Senior Taylor McFarren, President of Enactus, has partnered with junior Benedikt Müller on a new project called Project Phoenix. It is based on a partnership with Campbell’s Soup Company, called the “Let’s CAN Hunger” initiative.

“In this project, we are hoping to raise money and food to quickly help people in the Dayton Food Pantry,” said Muller.

They are trying to make people aware of the situation at hand by having fundraising events often. The team usually consists of about 15-20 people and, recently, they have sold cookies at soccer games to raise money.

“Our main objective is to help in whatever way we can, and enable people to stand on their own two feet again,” said McFarren.

Enactus urges people to help in any way they can. All money and non-perishable food item donations will immediately be taken to the Dayton Food Pantry. This is the safest place for all those suffering from hunger to go.
