How do you feel about this year? God is doing tremendous work with our students and I’m blessed to be a part of His ministry.

What is your outlook of this coming year? We will see our first class of spring graduates who will be earning their Master’s degree as part of The Bryan Difference Maker program. Our incoming freshmen class has the potential to be one of the largest ever and we will begin a 3 year campus wide facility enhancement project.

What do you hope to accomplish this spring term? Since this ends in two weeks, not much.

Looking back, what are some achievements that you feel proud about? (At Bryan College) Watching students come in as freshmen, grow in their education, become servants of Christ, and are now making a difference in the world. Some programs that have helped freshmen come to Bryan College are the Bryan Opportunity Program, Rhea County Scholarship, and now The Bryan Difference Maker.

Ideally what would you want to have happen is Fall 2016?

Enrollment: Overall of 1550 with a residential program (Arts & Sciences) of 675.

Graduate and undergrad programs: New Master’s programs with concentrations in Sports Management and Healthcare Management. For undergraduate a concentration in Accounting and preparing for the Engineering department which will include degrees in Mechanical engineering and Electrical Engineering.

Faculty: Engineering chair, new Math faculty professor who will try to fill the shoes of Dr. Simpson although I don’t know if that is possible, Criminal Justice professor, and a Film professor.

What kind of plans do you have set for the school within the next three years? Completing the campus wide facility enhancement plan which includes solar panels, finishing the 3rd floor of Mercer for the engineering program, renovating dorms, expanding the gym, and building additional townhouses if enrollment increases.

What kind of plans do you have set for the school with in the next five years?

To become the model of Christian Higher education and seeing more students making a difference than ever before.
